A | I chose massage because of my interest and experience in anatomy and kinesiology, and because of my altruistic nature.
Q | How do you describe your massage to others?
A | I like to help people relax and destress as well as work on specific issues they are struggling with. I use slow relaxing strokes combined with stretching and trigger point work.

A | It has helped me understand how the body is connected and how important health and fitness is.
Q | What do you do to keep yourself healthy?
A | I enjoy rollerskating, basketball, swimming, weightlifting, and yoga. I also study nutrition and supplements.
Q | What is your approach to delivering relief to your clients?
A | I actively listen to my clients to ensure they receive the help they need and the service that they want. I also use my massage therapy and kinesiology knowledge to help determine where the issue is coming from, and how to fix it. This includes sending clients home with recommendations to alleviate discomfort on a daily basis.

A | I like working on hips and glutes because these areas are heavily used daily and often get overlooked.

A | I like working with others and helping in any way I can, so it felt like a good fit.
Q | How do you describe your massage to others?
A | It really depends on what each client wants, whether they come in for relaxation or deep tissue work to fix an issue. I especially like to perform deep tissue in conjunction with active release techniques.

A | It has affected me in a very positive way. I’ve met great people, and the flexible hours have allowed me to pursue my college degree in physical therapy.
Q | What do you do to keep yourself healthy?
A | Work out regularly, drink enough water, & stretch!
Q | What is your approach to delivering relief to your clients?
A | It really depends on the problem, but in general my goal is to get the problem area to relax as well as work on the other areas of the body that caused the problem in the first place. I also do my best to instruct my clients on good stretches they can do in between sessions to maintain their body.

A | Not really, I prefer to focus on what is needed for each individual.

A | It sort of chose me. Throughout school and college I competed in powerlifting, during this time I was always aiding myself & teammates in recovery before our next training session or meet. After graduating with a bachelors in kinesiology, I enrolled in massage school.

A | Intuitive. I enjoy working with a purpose, finding areas that need attention & communicating with a client through problem areas. I also enjoy finding solutions that can help them reach their goals in said areas.

A | Massage therapy has helped me to be even more aware of my body and the way it functions. I am more in tune with my wellbeing, as well as my emotional & mental health. The atmosphere of a massage studio helps keep me grounded in these important aspects of life.

A | Typically I am standing all day long & I do my best to keep my body in motion during that time. I also workout and drink plenty of water every day.

A | Communication & comfort. I believe both of these are vital when working with someone. When a client is comfortable & understands what is happening in their session they will be mentally relaxed & the body will follow when receiving treatment.

A | I enjoy working upper back, specifically traps & rhomboids. I know many of us carry tension in this area due to our posture & it’s always a nice place to feel relief.

A | My specialties are Ashiatsu and MLD. I trained Ashiatsu through The Center for Barefoot Massage. And I received my Manual Lymphatic Drainage in The Vodder technique through Klose Training.

A | I chose this as a career because I thrive on helping clients with pain management. I equally love creating wellness plans and developing relationships with my clients. Anatomy and human body movement never seizes to amaze me. I love learning new techniques and continuing to support my clients on their health journeys. It’s very rewarding to help my clients feel better and witness progression and improvement; they are always happy to see me and happy when they leave.

A | It’s so rewarding to see clients improve. Receiving massage therapy myself has allowed me to continue my health and wellness journey, injury free.

A | I exercise 5-6 days per week, count my macros, and meal prep to ensure a balanced diet. I also foam roll and self massage at home.
