Krystal K. - Founder
Krystal Norsworthy always felt she would pursue a career in wellness. As a fitness enthusiast and natural healer, she realized she wanted to help others on their health journey. Krystal sought an education at the specialized Sarasota School of Massage Therapy (SSMT) and graduated with 710 hours of certified training. Post-graduation, she moved her family to sunny Austin, Texas, where she worked downtown at a premier spa for six years and gained the skills, confidence, and training needed to boldly branch out on her own.
In 2010, The Natural Way was born. Krystal found her purpose in both massage therapy and business and focused on maintaining a work environment in which her employees felt appreciated, while providing a service to her community. Three years later, she doubled in size and The Natural Way evolved into The Massage Studio. The Massage Studio specializes in holistic pain-management, deep tissue recovery massage, and customized bodywork all using natural, locally-sourced products.
As The Massage Studio bloomed through the years, Krystal continued her path towards self-evolution and decided to immerse herself in esthetician school. As a 17 year veteran in the spa industry, she has always respected how complex skincare is and decided to take a bold step in dedicating her time to getting licensed at Avenue Five Institute South (750) hour program. The unveiling of her new journey has set the foundation for expanding more services for her clients to feel good about. As The Massage Studio continues to grow and build value, there are so many possibilities to discover within the staff, services and products.
Today The Massage Studio is still running with the guiding principles around pure ingredients and high-quality spa exclusive products. As an esthetician, Krystal’s goal is to deliver customized facials and home care plans to help her clients achieve the best results and feel better about their skin. She is most interested in the transformation of facials, clearer skin, acne relief, anti-aging, and treating hyperpigmentation and melasma , and creating custom at-home skin care regimens for lasting results. She has influenced hundreds of clients to invest in their wellness in their daily lives and more than half of her client base is from referrals.
Krystal’s inspiration as a mother and spa owner comes from her son’s Cameron and Zeriah who are dedicated to their school work and activities. Cameron attends Concordia University in Austin and is a student assistant basketball coach. His goal is to be a teacher and high school basketball coach. Zeriah is top ranked in his class at Moe & Gene Johnson high school in Buda. Buda has been Krystal’s home for 16 years. Buda is a charming little city 20 minutes outside of Austin and is known as the outdoor capital of Texas.
Krystal is also certified in Ashiatsu, Neuromuscular Therapy, Plantar Fasciitis, Trigger Point, and Cupping Therapy. She is a NASM and PFTA Certified Personal Trainer, a Licensed Massage Therapist, and holds a National Board Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
