Our Facials
Here at The Massage Studio we are passionate about providing high quality results driven facials to all of our clients in the Buda, Kyle, and South Austin area. Our goal is to improve the health and appearance of each client’s skin using clean and effective professional products. We are proud to partner with Hale & Hush Sensitive Skin Experts, as well as Rhonda Allison Clinical Enterprises. Each of these lines are free of synthetic fragrances, parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfates, and animal testing. Not only are these brands clean, they take all of their products to the next level by using chirally corrected ingredients whenever possible. Another way we set ourselves apart here at The Massage Studio is by including massage components in each of our facials to help relieve stress while we treat your skin, so that you walk out of our studio glowing inside and out. - Before your facial treatment begins at The Massage Studio, we'll provide you with a form to fill out any medical history that may be relevant to your service. You will also be able to let us know what you want to focus on treating during your service, whether that be acne, hyperpigmentation, dryness, wrinkles, etc. So please be prepared to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment time for your first facial with us.
- We also ask whether you would like us to provide feedback/education during your session, or if you would prefer we provide a quieter session. That way, we can ensure you receive the most enjoyable experience tailored to your preferences.
Krystal - Esthetician
My name is Krystal and I recently graduated with my esthetician license from Avenue Five Institute South. As the founder of The Massage Studio, I have bloomed through the years and continued my path towards self-evolution. Last year I decided to immerse myself in esthetician school. As a 17 year veteran in the spa industry, I have always respected how complex skincare is and decided to take a bold step in dedicating my time to getting licensed at Avenue Five Institute South (750) hour program. The unveiling of my new journey has set the foundation for expanding more services for my clients to feel good about. I know each client has a unique skin profile and it is an honor to play a trusted and an important role in creating an all-inclusive experience that is customized for my client’s needs. As The Massage Studio continues to grow and build value, there are so many possibilities to discover within the staff, services and products. As an esthetician, my goal is to deliver customized facials and home care plans to help my clients achieve the best results and feel better about their skin. My latest hands on experience has been enlightening for my clients and I look forward to implementing more impactful services such as transformation of facials, clearer skin, acne relief, anti-aging, and treating hyperpigmentation and melasma , and creating custom at-home skin care regimens for lasting results.
Rebekah - Esthetician & Wax Specialist
Hi my name is Rebekah. I attended Avenue 5 Institute in North Austin, and have been working as a licensed Esthetician in Texas since 2018. I have been passionate about beauty and wellness for as long as I can remember. From a young age I was planning at home spa days with my friends, doing their makeup for prom, or styling their hair for weddings. I have always found fulfillment in helping people to feel like the most beautiful version of themselves. I originally attended Esthetics school with the intention of becoming a makeup artist, but while in school, I fell in love with everything about Esthetics. from waxing, to facials, to peels. I have struggled with bad acne since I was about 11 years old. For years I spent so much time and money trying to find a way to clear it without success. While in esthetics school, I was finally able to begin to find effective products and methods that have helped me get my acne under control. I still get a little breakout here and there as I am human, but overall my skin is much healthier and for that I am so grateful. For the first 2 years of my career, I worked as a full body Wax Specialist, specializing in bikini waxing. I found that I have a passion for helping my clients to get the best waxing results while also keeping them as comfortable as possible during their wax. In the last few years I have been performing facials, wax services, and tinting and I love the diversity. I find it so rewarding helping others to see a positive difference in their skin by combining regular treatments with effective homecare. I truly believe when we take the time to care for ourselves, we can be our best for everyone else in our lives. When I am not working I am likely baking cookies for my coworkers, binging the latest true crime podcast, cuddling with my dog, or going out to eat with my husband.
Katlyn - Esthetician
Hi my name is Katlyn, I am a newly licensed Esthetician and I graduated from Avenue Five Institute in South Austin in June 2022. I decided in January 2020 that I wanted to move from Mississippi to Austin to pursue a career in Esthetics. Growing up I had always struggled with sensitive and acneic skin. Spending so much time and money going to a Dermatologist was such a hassle and pain. This in turn made me interested in everything to do with skincare, beauty, and wellness. While I was in school my main goal was to learn how to better serve those who struggled with the same skin concerns as I did. With that, I found a love for specialised facials, waxing, lash/brow tinting, and brow lamination. I was able to learn how important an at home skincare regimen was to helping solve those skincare concerns. Being an esthetician is so much more than the services we give. It is a special experience to be able to care for another person. I always hope clients will leave me feeling more refreshed, happy, and relaxed than before. I can’t wait to start this journey of learning and growing while also getting to meet and help care for so many others.
