Waxing Services
Waxing is an effective method of hair removal that provides long lasting results, as it removes hair from the root, leaving you with smooth silky skin for days, and saving you from the dreaded razor burn commonly experienced when shaving. Along with proper homecare, waxing can also help to significantly reduce ingrown hairs and unwanted pigmentation, and make unwanted hair grow back finer, softer, and less noticeable over time.

Preparing for your first wax appointment
Check your ingredients
Look through your current skincare routine for these ingredients: Retin-A, Retinol, Retinal, or Tretinoin. If you are currently using Retin-A, Retinol, or Retinal we require that you stop using it for a minimum of 2 weeks before your wax appointment with us. If you are currently using or recently used Tretinoin, we require a doctor's note, approving you for waxing services. We follow these guidelines in order to protect your skin from what is called “lifting”. Lifting is when wax removes more than the normal layer of dead skin cells, and starts to remove healthy skin cells. Lifting is uncomfortable and unsightly and can lead to unwanted pigmentation. So for your sake and ours, we want to avoid it at all costs.
Exfoliate
We recommend using a gentle scrub in the area that you plan to have waxed 2-3 days prior to your appointment.
Our favorite options are Rhonda Allison’s “Gentle Jojoba Beads” for the face, and is Fur’s “Silk Scrub” for the body (especially for the bikini area).
Moisturize
Dry skin and hair does not handle waxing well. In order to remove the hairs from the root and get the most out of your wax service you’ll want to start moisturizing with a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer every day for at least a week leading up to your appointment.
Our favorite options are Fur’s ingrown preventative “Fur Oil” and “Stubble Cream”.
Lash & Brow Tinting
Do you want your light brows or lashes to look more defined without getting up early to apply makeup every morning?
If so, you’ll love our lash and brow tinting services! Our experienced estheticians will take the time to consult with you and customize the perfect brow or lash color just for you.
Our Tinting Services
- Lash Tint - $30
- Brow Tint - $20
- Lash & Brow Tint (Combo) - $40
Lash Tinting is recommended for clients who do not naturally have dark defined lashes. If your lashes are already beautifully jet black, this service will likely not make a dramatic difference in your lashes. If this is the case, we would be more than happy to refer you to an excellent lash extension technician in our area.

Rebekah - Esthetician & Wax Specialist
Hi my name is Rebekah. I attended Avenue 5 Institute in North Austin, and have been working as a licensed Esthetician in Texas since 2018. I have been passionate about beauty and wellness for as long as I can remember. From a young age I was planning at home spa days with my friends, doing their makeup for prom, or styling their hair for weddings. I have always found fulfillment in helping people to feel like the most beautiful version of themselves. I originally attended Esthetics school with the intention of becoming a makeup artist, but while in school, I fell in love with everything about Esthetics. from waxing, to facials, to peels. For the first 2 years of my career, I worked as a full body Speed Waxing Specialist, specializing in bikini waxing. I found that I have a passion for helping my clients to get the best waxing results while also keeping them as comfortable as possible during their wax. In the last few years I have been performing facials, wax services, and tinting and I love the diversity. I find it so rewarding helping others to see a positive difference in their skin by combining regular treatments with effective homecare. I truly believe when we take the time to care for ourselves, we can be our best for everyone else in our lives.
Katlyn - Esthetician
Hi my name is Katlyn, I am a newly licensed Esthetician and I graduated from Avenue Five Institute in South Austin in June 2022. I decided in January 2020 that I wanted to move from Mississippi to Austin to pursue a career in Esthetics. Growing up I had always struggled with sensitive and acneic skin. Spending so much time and money going to a Dermatologist was such a hassle and pain. This in turn made me interested in everything to do with skincare, beauty, and wellness. While I was in school my main goal was to learn how to better serve those who struggled with the same skin concerns as I did. With that, I found a love for specialised facials, waxing, lash/brow tinting, and brow lamination. I was able to learn how important an at home skincare regimen was to helping solve those skincare concerns. Being an esthetician is so much more than the services we give. It is a special experience to be able to care for another person. I always hope clients will leave me feeling more refreshed, happy, and relaxed than before. I can’t wait to start this journey of learning and growing while also getting to meet and help care for so many others.
