- Prior to your session, we encourage our clients to arrive 15 minutes early to be fully prepped for their experience. Come even earlier to enjoy complimentary tea, water, and snacks in our lounge.
- Before your session begins at The Massage Studio, we'll provide your party with forms to fill out any medical history that may be relevant to your couples massage session. This will also be the time for you both to let us know which affected areas you would like us to focus on.
- We also ask if you prefer our massage therapist’s feedback during or after your session. That way we can ensure you receive an experience tailored to your preferences.
Preparations
- Your session will be in a private and relaxing room, with two massage beds side by side. We allow our clients to prepare in privacy, including disrobing.
Communicate with Us
- We understand that everyone's body and preferences are different. This also includes their tolerance for pressure and work on affected areas. We always encourage our clients to communicate what is and isn't comfortable throughout their experience with us. Our therapists are trained to provide you with the most suitable therapeutic treatment based on your preferences.
Post-Session
- Once your session is complete, our therapist will wait outside to allow you both to dress. Don't feel like you need to rush out right away after your sessions are finished. Take your time to unwind together. In the stillness of your freshly relaxed mind, you’ll likely find that conversation is more open and easy than usual.
- Since deep tissue massage therapy helps relieve toxins from tense muscles, we'll provide you a glass of water to wash away any excess toxins. Don’t be surprised if you’re a bit sore after your couple’s massage. The soreness is just your formerly stressed muscles recovering to a better state.
